Delaney
Works at a convenience store by day, and takes classes at night. Delaney is proud of his work, and takes great care to make sure he's doing the best he possibly can. He's pretty average- he lives in a one bedroom apartment with his cat and eats microwave dinners for almost every meal.
Ember
Charismatic and friendly. Ember works as a tour guide at the local zoo. He's friendly & outgoing, but he is obsessed with a certain girl, to the point of following her home. Nobody knows this about him, but he's sure that even if someone found out, they wouldn't believe it... right? He's trusted, he's not a stalker...
Ruby
Ruby was the gifted kid in school, and can normally be found in the library. She and Delaney grew up on the same street, and she's had a crush on him since they were little. She's shy, and often getting talked over, but when she speaks up, everyone listens.
Mitzi
Even more shy than Polly, Mitzi is a loner who always has her nose in a book. She grew up in a rich family, and relies on servants to do her everyday chores. Despite this, she doesn't come off as spoiled. Her glasses are constantly broken, and she wears old clothes. However, she has a heart of gold and will talk for hours with anyone willing to befriend her.
Stuart
Generally unlucky, but a ray of sunshine. Delaney's next door neighbor (and best friend) Stuart is a cheerful train wreck. He's always getting mixed up in trouble, but even if his apartment almost burns down, he keeps a smile on his face. Him and Delaney spend most of their time together, and Delaney tries to keep him safe. (It doesn't always work.)
